Pentaho Corp. (www.pentaho.com), which sells open-source business intelligence software, has raised a $7 million fourth round financing, according to a regulatory filing. The company previously raised $25 million in venture capital from investors who include Menlo Park, Calif.-based Benchmark Capital, UK-based Index Ventures and Baltimore-based New Enterprise Associates. It closed its $12 million C round in 2008.
MuleSoft Inc (www.mulesoft.com). closed its third round of financing with $12 million in venture capital.The round was led by SAP Ventures, a division of Walldorf, Germany-based SAP AG.Also participating were Palo Alto-based Bay Partners, San Francisco-based Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, which have offices in Menlo Park.
Pentaho sells a BI Suite Enterprise Edition that provides comprehensive reporting, OLAP analysis, dashboards, data integration, data mining and a BI platform. The company says it is the world’s most widely deployed open source BI suite.San Francisco-based MuleSoft provides software, support and services for open source application infrastructure products.
