DrupalCon San Francisco kicks off Monday, April 19 at Moscone Center.

Keynote speakers include industry luminary Tim O'Reilly, David H. Cole of the Executive Office of the President, and Drupal project lead Dries Buytaert.

Some things to look forward to:

O'Reilly will discuss the role of open source in the future and how we can build and 'internet operating system' composed of software components like Drupal, as opposed to a platform owned by a single vendor.

David H. Cole from the New Media Team at the Whitehouse will talk specifically about moving whitehouse.gov to Drupal, and he will be joined by Andrew Hoppin of the New York State Senate to discuss further government implementations of Drupal.

Other hot sessions at DrupalCon will discuss Facebook applications, Twitter, iPhone and web services applications, SEO, e-commerce, the next generation of web design, getting started with Drupal, and much more.

Registration : $220 for three full days of sessions and seminars led by the best and brightest minds in the Drupal community. Register at https://sf2010.drupal.org/registration (https://sf2010.drupal.org/registration).

A few spots are still available for pre-conference training sessions, which will be held on April 18 at Moscone Center. These hands-on training classes will cover everything from an introduction to Drupal to how to build an ecommerce website. Classes will be taught by the world's leading Drupal experts and cost a fraction of their normal price. Sign up at http://sf2010.drupal.org/registration (http://sf2010.drupal.org/registration).
