Google has published mentoring organisations for this year's Google Summer of Code (GSoC) event (http://code.google.com/soc/). According to Google Open Source Blog (http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2011/03/mentoring-organizations-for-google.html) , there are now 175 open source projects with mentors like Blender Foundation, the CERN Virtual Machine, the Debian Project, the Django Software Foundation, the EFF / Tor Project, FFmpeg / Libav, the GNU Project, the KDE Project, LibreOffice, Mozilla and openSUSE .Google will begin accepting student applications on 28 March.
