AddThis (http://www.addthis.com/) is offering two extensions for Joomla, a free (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software) open source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_source_software) content management system (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_management_system) for publishing content on the World Wide Web (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wide_Web) and intranets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intranet) . The module adds an AddThis button to the template of the page, usually in the sidebar. The plugin allows you to add the button to the body of the page where the article is shown. Addthis recommends installing and using only one. Both are fully customizable.
