Luminotes, a personal wiki notebook that combines the best of web notebooks and wikis in a simple format without markup codes has made its portable wiki package and desktop clients free and open source for all. I just took a demo here (http://luminotes.com/notebooks/6rlg17orbmobv7jl67oztsvyl).Seems pretty neat! It allows for your notes to be searched and linked . You can embed images and files and much more. I like that the layout is so simple allowing us to concentrate on our thoughts without distractions.
